About Me
My name is Sadegh Ebrahimi, a 27-year-old from Isfahan, Iran, where I was born and raised. I hold both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Cellular and Molecular Biology. My Master’s thesis focused on "Investigating the Expression and Function of the TWIST1 Gene in Common Cancers Using Bioinformatics Approaches," which I recently defended. I am currently in the process of writing a manuscript based on this research.
Driven by a strong passion for bioinformatics, I have dedicated myself to acquiring the necessary skills for this field. I am proficient in programming languages such as R, Python, and MATLAB. Additionally, I am familiar with various databases and have hands-on experience with tools and software such as Galaxy, Cytoscape, CIBERSORT, PARTI, WGCNA, and others.
Furthermore, I have a solid understanding of essential concepts and analyses, including survival analysis, Cox regression, risk score, cancer hallmarks, biological networks, transcriptomics, and enrichment analysis. I am deeply interested in machine learning and deep learning, and I have established a strong and extensive connection with various AI models.
I am truly honored to join the Rayazi group and look forward to contributing meaningfully to the team. I am eager to collaborate and make valuable contributions to the ongoing research projects.
Thank you for this opportunity.
